ULMA’s new PREMÍA electric pallet truck receives the red dot international design award
The jury, made up of 30 international experts, awarded the prize to the new PREMÍA ES electric pallet trucks by Mitsubishi because, in its view, they are highly adapted devices with a very ergonomic and functional design. The ceremony, held annually in Singapore, included more than 4,500 products from 1,800 companies spread across 58 countries running for the red dot design prize in 19 different categories. The prestigious red dot awards, held since 1955, includes Mitsubishi in a list of well-known brands such as BMW, Apple, Adidas and Nokia, thus further strengthening its competitive value.
The new electric pallet trucks, with a loading capacity of 2 tonnes, are especially designed to work both inside and outside a warehouse environment and are highly effective for high intensity work in the most adverse circumstances and in very small spaces. Thanks to their special water-resistant design, the new PREMÍA electric pallet trucks are suitable for use outside warehouses, even in extreme weather conditions, because both the chassis and the electrical system are protected against rain and water splashes.
The acknowledgement of international awards, such as red dot, re-affirms ULMA’s and Mitsubishi’s commitment to continue with the policy of product and service innovation and development in order to meet customer requirements.
