According to the company, Pikolin’s new facilities, in which the Aragon-based company has invested 50 million euro, covering 85,000 square meters, are the largest and most advanced industrial complex in Europe in the bedding sector.

For this emblematic project,, Pikolin and the specialised engineering company Idom have relied on the drainage systems of ULMA Architectural Solutions, which has developed a customised channel, following the requirements made. The Aragon-based company needed a drainage channel with smaller holes and a smooth surface to avoid vibrations during the passage of trolleys.

In total, 1,910 linear metres of the KOMPAQDRAIN®KVFD200.10R.E2530 Industry channel, with the MAX FLOW® system, were installed. It is a novel compact channel made of polymer concrete, in which the channel and the grid form a single piece, ensuring greater rigidity. Furthermore, it is suitable for the D400 load class, according to the EN-1433 standard, and is specifically designed for areas with high traffic intensity.

Max Flow® System

The original curved design of the inlet holes, alongside its anti-slip and water-directing surface, provide the new Max Flow® effect, increasing water velocity and drainage capacity. Furthermore, the progressive widening of the holes promotes the passage of waste. This makes KOMPAQDRAIN® unique in the market.
