ULMA Inoxtruck is to present its clean room solutions for the pharmaceutical sector at the CPHI fair in Frankfurt.
ULMA Inoxtruck will present is fully cleanable equipment offering solutions to horizontal transport, lifting and product maintenance tasks in clean rooms, which have strict hygiene requirements similar to those in the pharmaceutical sector.
ULMA Inoxtruck applies to its equipment the cleanable design concepts that are already so widely used in equipment GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), including for the most demanding material, such as 304L and 316L stainless steel, as well as applying the highest protection IP to the electronic components. The design, with open structures and curved, included surfaces, allows ULMA equipment to be integrated into companies' existing cleaning procedures for their Clean Rooms, in compliance with directive 2006/42/EC regulating requirements to ensure equipment safety and hygiene. This directive states that equipment surfaces coming into contact with food products, cosmetics or pharmaceuticals should be smooth, not rough, to prevent the accumulation of remains that could cause microbiological contamination, as well as to enable thorough cleaning before each use.
For companies in the chemicals, cosmetics or pharmaceutical industries, ULMA Inoxtruck includes lithium-ion batteries in its equipment, developed thanks to its close cooperation with research centres and high tech partners. Lithium-ion batteries guarantee the equipment performs optimally as they can be charged continuously without impacting on their useful life and keep working areas “free” of gas emissions. Furthermore, ULMA Inoxtruck equipment incorporates ATEX protection to guarantee the health and safety of workers exposed to risks from explosive atmospheres.
ULMA Inoxtruck will present cleanable solutions to handle loads in clean rooms, in the space used for equipment, technology and machinery designed for the pharmaceutical sector, CPHI-PMEC, at stand 4.1M57.
