CUSTOMISED POLYMER CONCRETE SLATS

ULMA polymer concrete slats were supplied for the façade of the Banca March building in Mallorca. The building façade was surrounded by pillars which the architects wanted to clad to achieve a façade much more aesthetically pleasing. So, ULMA designed and manufactured special slats customising them to the needs of the building.

175 slats were installed anchored to the aluminium struts between the forgings. The ULMA prefabricated elements provide high performance when fitted on the worksite since they are easy to install and handle due to their lightweight.

ULMA polymer concrete had been prescribed since project beginning as it is the ideal material for coastal areas. The polymer concrete characteristics which make it resistant are its Impermeability together with its resistance to damp and brine.
