ULMA Architectural Solutions rewards creativity
The contest featured two awards: one was granted by a Technical Committee composed of professors of the School and representatives of ULMA, while another was granted by the public, who could vote through social networks among the 5 finalist textures of the award.
The award-winning students were Andrea Martinez, from Catalonia, who received the award from the Technical Committee, and the Panamanian student Clarissa Pilar González de León, whose texture won the popular vote. The awards consisted of two scholarships of 1,000 euro and 500 euro, respectively, which will be effective on the enrolment for the 2019-2020 academic year.
“When designing my texture, I wanted to do something classic but at the same time be different and represent, through the material itself, the idea of union and connection”, said the winner of the popular vote, Clarissa Pilar González de León.
