The Red Dot Design Award is one of the most prestigious international design prizes awarded each year in Essen, Germany, where the Institution is based. Its aim is to acknowledge quality and innovation in the international product design field.

The Award has been awarded to internationally acclaimed designers, manufacturers and brands since 1955.

The Mitsubishi EDIA EX electric counterbalanced forklift truck was chosen by a 40-strong professional jury from a total of 4,815 products competing in different categories.

Together with its innovative design, the Red Dot Award jury made special mention of the model’s numerous innovative features to facilitate operation, enabling more precise, safer work with minimum effort.
