ULMA prepares for Euskaraldia

After analysing the issue in the bodies and business addresses, we have already signed up to participate in the experience as an entity or business. Here, you can watch the video made at ULMA.

Now, it is time for each person to decide if we will be ahobizi or belarriprest and sign up. If you wish to participate, you can do it through the channels open for this purpose in your business.

This year, there will be two ways to participate in the entity. On the one hand, spaces called arigune will be created, ensuring the possibility of speaking in Basque at all times. Although the people in these spaces will participate in the form of ahobizi and belarriprest, the exercise will be carried out collectively. On the other hand, there are the people who cannot be in the arigunes, who will do the exercise individually, in the roles of ahobizi or belarriprest.

Therefore, anyone who would like to participate in the Euskaraldia, whether or not they are in an arigune, must choose the role of ahobizi or belarriprest and sign up. If you have any questions about the roles, please keep in mind:

• Being an ahobizi is not about your ability to speak Basque, but with your behaviour! Are you willing to use Basque whenever you can and with everyone who understands it? If so, you are an ahobizi!

• Being a belarriprest and the ability to speak are not related, the key is your behaviour! I want those who can do it to speak to me in Basque at all times. I understand almost everything and will speak when I decide. If you act like this, you are a belarriprest!
