This Miyagi Co-op is a renowned consumer cooperative in Japan and an ULMA Packaging client, with more than 614,869 members and 48 shops.

Miyagi has several TFS thermoformers and its main activity is home deliveries, although it also runs supermarkets, other services and insurance.

The confederation showed great interest in learning about Mondragón’s experience as a cooperative, which was the main reason for their trip.

The visit to ULMA Packaging was part of a series of visits that also included UPTC, Corporación Mondragon, Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Eroski Greenshop in Oñati and Eroski’s headquarters in Elorrio.
