The fair, designed to showcase high technology solutions in the medical and pharmaceutical sector, was held recently in Düsseldorf concurrently with the world’s largest medical fair, MEDICA.

The Düsseldorf trade fair, which hosted both events, held the Compamed fair on 20 and 22 November.

ULMA Packaging was there with a modest stand to show the sector its wide range of packaging solutions for medical and pharmaceutical products.

As an example of its packaging technology, the company took along two packaging machines that displayed different technologies. An FM 305 flow pack that produces pillow packaging using a single spool of film and a TFS 400 thermoformer that produces rigid packaging using a spool to create the cavities needed for the product to be packed, and a second film then used to seal the package with a lid.

The number of visits to the stand and the warm reception received confirmed that attending the fair was the right move to promote the company’s products in a sector where ULMA has always met its clients’ packaging needs.
