ULMA Lazkao Forging launches a plan to encourage the use of Basque
ULMA Lazkao Forging, like the other Group businesses, has taken the first steps to launch a plan to encourage the use of Basque, starting with its design in April.
The Lazkao Forging Basque Committee has been set up for this purpose and will be advised by EMUN Koop.E. Eneko Oyarbide will be the co-ordinator during this stage and once the plan has been drafted it will be implemented, with Monika Sierra responsible for co-ordination.
ULMA Lazkao Forging is a world leader specialising in forging manufacture.
Lazkao was founded in 1969 and became part of ULMA GROUP’s ULMA FORJA co-operative on 3rd December 2010 with a staff of 36 employees.
The staff currently consists of 51 people.
They use several types of materials to manufacture forgings and work for different sectors such as the food processing, shipbuilding, oil, gas, petrochemical, energy, railway, aerospace and defence industries.
