ULMA Handling Systems to be part of the teaching staff at the 38th edition of the summer courses at the university of the basque country
Summer 2019 will see the University of the Basque Country (EHU / UPV) host the 38th edition of its summer courses, offering a meeting space to shed light on the challenges facing society. In total there will be 191 on-campus proposals.
On June 21 ULMA Handling Systems will be part of the teaching staff on the course; "Industrial Digital Transformation and its Influence in the Supply Chain," to be held in Donostia-San Sebastián, at the Miramar Palace.
The participation of the Euskadi Mobility and Logistics Cluster, the University of Deusto, Microsoft, PA Consulting and ULMA Handling Systems in this course, will provide expert knowledge for all those who wish to attend this summer course.
The course teaching staff is aware that the digital transformation applied to the industry, is today, an opportunity to generate added value for business, adding efficiency to the processes, optimizing its management and improving the service offered to customers.
The objective of this course will be to ascertain the opportunities brought by digital transformation applied to the industrial sector. In addition, the current trends and technologies essential to being able to move into this digital transformation and where they are going, will be analysed. To do this, an analysis will take place of the products and services that can be incorporated into industrial management, together with the advantages they bring in terms of added value and performance for each business.
