ULMA Conveyor Basque Language Plan
The process will start by analysing the current state of affairs in order to set the Plan’s goals and determine its structure. This analysis will include a survey of all staff and individual interviews of some of the organisation’s employees to ascertain the level of knowledge and use of Basque in the company. The data and information gathered will be used to set targets for the next few years. This will be based on four pillars: awareness-raising and promotion of Basque, knowledge of Basque, use of the language and implementation of a Basque Language Plan.
A Basque Language Committee, with members from across the company, has been set up to shape the plan.
In defining and implementing the Plan, the company is receiving technical support from personnel at Emun, Koop. E. (www.emun.com).
