E-KANBAN: always real-time, always online
The system implemented at Orkli is an easy-to-use web-based e-Kanban system designed to reduce delivery times, reduce stock and, in short, create customer loyalty. The project guarantees RFID system control of all material movements, enabling real-time availability of all the information, process optimisation and inventory monitoring. In the words of Orkli’s Sales Manager, Iker Estensoro, “Customer service has improved considerably. Consumed material can be replenished in the time it takes for the supplies to ship from Orkli to the customer’s premises, which shortens delivery times to the customer and reduces the stock they need to hold”.
Also, customers can effortlessly ensure that consumed material will be replenished as and when needed, and they can consult up to date information about the status of their material online whenever they wish.
