ULMA Group Basque Postcard Competition attracts strong interest
The ULMA Group’s Basque Language Motivation Committee held a competition for postcards written in Basque between June and September. 20 attractive postcards were received and the first prize was awarded to our colleague Ibai from ULMA Construction.

The winning postcard was sent from the Alps, with scaffolding drawn by Ibai himself, together with the ULMA logo. He also wrote a superb poem in Basque, and won a weekend for two.
The remaining entries were submitted for the second prize draw, a meal for two, which was won by Garikoitz from ULMA Conveyor, who sent in a postcard with a lovely view of Menorca and wrote about his stay on the island.
The other postcards arrived from a variety of destinations: the Dolomites, Quebec, Costa Rica, the Costa Brava, Le Périgord Noir, Barcelona, Portugal, Rome, Madeira, Lapland, Sri Lanka, Cantabria, Germany, the Ultzama Valley, Oñati and the Dominican Republic.
