The project focuses on guaranteeing efficient management of Nespresso’s four order picking workstations for boxes of coffee capsules and accessory products. The installation consists of a total of 150 Pick to Light Systems devices, installed in various phases.

Since the start-up of the new installation, Nespresso has greatly increased its order picking capacity, from the 690 orders it picked per day before the new logistics system was developed to the current 2,500.

The logistics software, developed by ULMA, guarantees precise control of order status, elimination of errors and operating costs and integration with radio frequency terminals for bar code reading.
