ULMA promotes the generation of its own electricity using renewable sources at its facilities

Making the decision to produce one's own renewable energy is one of the most significant levers that can contribute to the decarbonisation process of any company, given that the energy consumption of facilities has a significant impact on the greenhouse gas emissions generated by its activity. Reducing the consumption of energy from non-renewable sources is therefore of particular importance.

Generating our own energy has numerous benefits for both the environment and society, besides increasing renewable energy production capacity. This means not only medium- and long-term cost savings for the company. Reducing emissions associated with energy consumption contributes to the fight against climate change and to caring for and protecting the environment, one of the greatest social challenges of the 21st century.

This is one of the measures adopted by ULMA to contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions produced by its activity and forms part of the Climate Action and Sustainable Energy pillars of ULMA Construction's 2023-2025 Sustainability Strategy, which establishes climate neutrality by 2050 as one of its goals, in accordance with the objectives set out in the Paris Agreement.
