Ulma Construction
ULMA Construction participates in the Euslan programme with a commitment to encourage the use of Basque
Following the acknowledgement of its Linguistic Management Quality in 2014 with a Bikain Silver Certificate, ULMA Construction has acquired a new commitment by participating in the Euslan programme promoted by the Basque Government.
The Euslan programme aims to ensure the use of Basque as a first language in industrial relations. Twelve pioneering companies have joined the initiative and will therefore receive a subsidy from the Basque Government, and benefit from consultancy from Elay, the Guipuzcoa-based firm charged with coordinating and invigorating the pilot Euslan programme.
ULMA Construction, like the other eleven companies who have taken on this challenge, is committed to increasing the use of Basque by 20% in its industrial relations and linguistic landscape. Assessment of this commitment will take the form of a Bikain Certificate, which ULMA is again set to apply for in 2017.
