For the past six years, ULMA has maintained a regular collaboration with students in the Master’s in Industrial Engineering program at TECNUN, the School of Engineering at the University of Navarra.

This year’s challenge, set within the course on construction industrialization, involved designing the vertical formwork required for the walls and columns of a residential building, using ORMA panel formwork and UCAB single sided formwork, while optimizing material costs and ensuring on-site safety and the structural integrity of the solution.  

In line with the results obtained in previous editions, the projects presented this academic year by students in the TECNUN Master’s in Industrial Engineering program were characterized by high quality and a high level of problem-solving, effectively addressing the practical cases related to finding the best technical solution for a construction project.

In this regard, ULMA reaffirms its involvement and commitment to fostering spaces for interaction between the academic world and the business sector, building bridges of collaboration as an indispensable means of cultivating knowledge, innovation, research, and continuous improvement for both parties.
