The reinforced concrete dome represents one of the main structural challenges of this project and the complexity of its geometry required a high-precision formwork system.
Another technical challenge was supporting the slabs at great height, using radial steel trusses, which interfered with the shoring elements. The use of BIM methodology with Revit® made it possible to model the structure in 3D, anticipate clashes, and optimise the final solution.
