Collaborative Engineering at the service of the Zêzere Bridge repair
The technical solution developed by ULMA for the repair and structural reinforcement of the Zêzere Bridge, has been the result of a process of continuous collaborative process between the engineering, logistics, and assembly teams.

Nestled in the natural setting of the Castelo de Bode reservoir, the Pombeira Bridge connects the Portuguese municipalities of Ferreira do Zêzere and Vila de Rei. This infrastructure rises 100 metres above the Zêzere riverbed and has a length of 385 metres, a central arch of 224 metres and spans ranging from 14 to 21 metres.
The solution offered by ULMA consisted of a continuous working platform, built with the BRIO Multidirectional Scaffolding system in a cantilevered and suspended configuration from both the deck and the arch of the bridge.
In this video of the project you can see perfectly the scaffolding solution offered by ULMA.
