AENOR, a leading organization in management system certification, wished to recognize this milestone with a celebration in which Gonzalo San Antonio, as the certifier's representative, presented the corresponding commemorative plaque.

This occasion also served as an opportunity to bring together some of the ULMA team members who have worked over the past 30 years in the Quality department, ensuring and continuously improving the rigorous implementation of the standard in the company's management system. We would also like to acknowledge and express our gratitude to everyone who was unable to attend the event but has promoted, and continues to promote, both the implementation and the continuous improvement of the quality management system.

Aware of the importance of this certification and putting into practice the corporate value of customer orientation, ULMA Construction chose to commit to this voluntary standard, obtaining its first ISO 9001 certification on 11 February1994.. This was yet another demonstration of the organization's pioneering spirit and its drive for improvement: although it is now the most certified ISO standard among companies (1,265,216 certified organizations worldwide in 2022), in 1994 there were just over 70,000 organizations holding this certification in the world (barely 5% of today's figure).

Achieving this certification was an extremely significant milestone. However, it was just the beginning of ULMA's public commitment to quality: the uninterrupted maintenance of the certification for 30 years is tangible proof of this commitment, as it has demanded ongoing effort, including annual audits, with the active involvement of the entire organization in one way or another. The latest renewal of the certification, obtained in April 2024, further strengthens the commitment to consistency and quality.

For all these reasons, yesterday was a day to celebrate ULMA Construction's efforts and commitment to quality, as well as its constant, daily pursuit of customer satisfaction. In these times, when trust is so crucial, the company’s commitment to this certification demonstrates its dedication to the pursuit of excellence and transparency.
