The ULMA Foundation is seeking a volunteer to answer the call of solidarity and travel to Honduras with the Zarauz-based organisation ACOES Honduras (Association for Collaboration and Effort), an NGO the ULMA Foundation has worked with for many years now.

Would you like to dedicate a month of your life to people you can really help, in Honduras?

We need someone who can go out there and collaborate in whatever their own speciality may be, as help of all kinds is needed. Even if you don’t have a particular speciality there’s still a lot you can do: you can teach them what cooperation and teamwork is, show them how to help and support young people in their country or even just play with the children or teach them a song.

In the words of the NGO itself: “These are children and teenagers who need affection, they need to feel that someone is helping them. It’s almost like being a replacement family to them for a few days.”
