The machinery manufacturer ULMA Packaging has signed a partnership agreement with Adesva, Agro-industrial Technology Centre. The company is collaborating in a fruit and vegetable packaging project promoted by Adesva in partnership with Perfotec, which will take place during the 2013 campaign in the new facilities of the Technology Centre Agro-industrial Laboratory, located in the Ciderta at the University of Huelva campus.
The project will make new modified-atmosphere packaging technology available to fresh produce growers in the Adesva area to extend its useful life. For this, in addition to other technology, there will be an 'Atlanta' model horizontal flow-pack wrapper with horizontal sealing.
