ULMA Handling Systems opens its doors in Venezuela
Laboratorios Leti, S.A.V., Venezuela’s main generic drugs manufacturer, has placed its trust in ULMA Handling Systems to develop and install a complete storage and automated transport system at its Guarenas plant (Venezuela).

As its first facility in Venezuela, this project will be an important milestone for ULMA Handling Systems in its international expansion.
The system will have a storage capacity of 12,768 pallets for raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products. It will feature a total of 5 corridors and 5 high-rack raisers and an automated transport system connecting the warehouse with the two adjacent production plants via tunnels, and with the existing order preparation area.
The project’s main goal is to make maximum use of the available area in the plant to continue expected growth, and to integrate the different phases of the production process via an automated system.
Completion is expected by late summer 2013.
