Tabakalera is a centre of contemporary culture whose main goal is to promote contemporary cultural creation in different spheres and in all its phases (research, production, exhibition) as well as generating and sharing knowledge.

ULMA Architectural Solutions has participated in the restoration of the environment of this cultural centre of the capital of Guipuzcoa. The work has been carried out in two phases.

In the first phase, low-level drainage channels were provided for large loads (SM250MF system with a grid for load class D-400) and channels for use in pedestrian zones (M100 system with lightweight load grids).

In the second phase, in which the area to be restored was the environment surrounding the building, the MULTI V+ channel model with the RapidLook fastening system has been supplied, combining both class D-400 and C- 250 ribbed cast-iron grids for heavy loads (in compliance with the Accessibility Regulations in Pedestrian Spaces) and channels with side slotted grids for load class D-400 (according to EN-1433).

In total, approximately 500 linear metres of pipeline have been installed. The choice of ULMA solutions was due to the previous prescription of the project authors and the advisory services provided by the ULMA technical team.

The construction company responsible for the restoration was UTE TABAKA, a result of the union of the companies MOYUA and AMENABAR.
