ULMA Architectural Solutions has participated in the "energy efficient" renovation of the facades of buildings 4 and 6 of Ferrocarril Avenue in Pamplona, in the modern Bustintxuri neighbourhood.

They were built in the early 1950s. The whole neighbourhood grew around these buildings as if they were an island, leaving a clear example of the contrast between new and old and, above all, of the very different conditions of quality of life from one period to the other.

The commitment to update the old building not only covered the aesthetic improvement but mainly focused on the quality of life of its occupants and was complemented with the reduction in heating costs. Which also led to lower pollution from of CO2 emissions, in line with the guidelines and commitments set by the EC.

This has been achieved with the installation of the ULMA polymer concrete Ventilated Facades system. Thanks to the thermal insulation it provides, this system enables significant energy savings as it prevents heat from escaping, keeping the inside of the building at an optimum temperature.

Another advantage offered by this system is the technical durability with excellent results over time and its simple maintenance is limited to the use of soap and water.

All these improvements have enabled this old building to become one of the best in efficiency and sustainability in the area.

With this renovation, we have welcomed the new and modern building in Ferrocarril Avenue.
