The logistic project will allow complete management of traceability of the medication:  from its reception in the hospital warehouse to the delivery and consumption by the patient.

The system will be managed by 2 ULMA horizontal carousels, a warehouse management system and a grouped order preparation system using Pick to Light Systems devices.  However, without doubt, the core of the project is centred on the storage and order preparation system (carousels), the design of which has been developed with the objective of increasing to the maximum the productivity ratios by reducing to a minimum the amount of movements and transport tasks.  This is a reliable and fully flexible solution that allows perfect integration with other logistics systems.

TECNIGEN’s experience and vast knowledge of the Chilean healthcare sector and ULMA’s consulting and logistics equipment have enabled the implementation of this project. It is considered a pioneer project in terms of both concept and design.
